Who is Calla Haynes ? Calla was born in Toronto and has been living in Paris for the past 10 years. After attending the Parsons School of Design in New York and Paris, she started working with Olivier Theyskens at Rochas and Nina Ricci before launching her own label. Her eponymous brand is based on the concept of “relaxed luxury » and she has already collaborated with Samsung, April 77, Honest By, and 3 Suisses. When she isn’t making girls look better, she throws cool parties like her last pfw cocktail at W Hotel.

Verjus
I think that I love the downstairs winebar as much as the upstairs restaurant.
The food is delicious and original. Â The staff are really friendly, too.
Trying the hush puppies in the winebar was a life changing experience.

Chipotle
I’m so happy that Chipotle finally came to Paris.
I could eat Mexican food everyday.
It’s fresh, it’s cheap, and the $5 Margaritas are delicious.

The Space
is a new multi-brand shop in St Germain that’s carrying CALLA. Â The shop has an eccentric, Alice in Wonderland feel. Â The owners buy a huge array of young designers – their selection is completely original and refreshing.

Monday Music Quiz at the Thistle
My best friend Michele runs the pub and also hosts this weekly music quiz.
It’s always super fun and social.
They also host a regular pub quiz on Sundays.

Bois de Vincennes
I’m not sure if there’s anything that makes me happier then watching my Chow Chow, Lily, roll around in the grass like a pig in mud making loud grunting noises.
You’ll find us at Bois de Vincennes every weekend re-connecting to nature.
